Into the Woods

Musical | English | 150 minutes | Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim

Info
The musical weaves the stories of several  Grimm fairy tale characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. It also includes the expected witch who places a curse on the main characters. The witch  cursed the baker and his wife, as well, preventing them from having a children. Into the Woods culminates with the haunting but hopeful musical number, No One Is Alone.

SUGGESTION: There have been many recordings of Into the Woods. I would recommend the filming with the original cast, from the stage of the Martin Beck Theatre in New York.  Available on Amazon Pri
