Drama | English | 113 minutes
From 1810 to 1821, the peasants (called campesinos) following the leadership of Emiliano Zapata, fight the corrupt government and its president, Porfirio Diaz. The peasants want independence and are also fighting hard to force Diaz to return the land he has stolen. Diaz is overthrown but his successor is no better. After Zapata is murdered, the campesinos vow to continue the fight for justice, no matter what it will take or the blood to be shed.
