In Northampton, England, Charlie Price is struggling to save a floundering shoe factory he inherited when his father died. On a business trip to London, Charlie rescues a drag queen, Lola, being attacked by a group of hoodlums. He gets acquainted with Lola and is intrigued with the kind of high-heeled boots worn by drag queens. Back home, Charlie’s fiancée urges Charlie to sell the losing shoe factory to a real estate developer. Charlie’s close assistant, Lauren, persuades him to keep going but to focus on manufacturing a niche product like high-heeled boots. Charlie recruits Lola to help with the design. Arriving in Milan for the major fashion show, mishaps happen. But Lola arrives with a group of fellow drag queens and they perform a spectacular runway show. Each one is thrilling the audience wearing vibrant, distinctive, high-heeled kinky boots.
