Info
In 1882, Wyatt Earp and his three brothers are driving cattle from Arizona to California when they encounter the irascible Clanton and his sons. Clanton offers to buy the entire herd at a good price but Wyatt refuses. The older brothers head for the lively town of Tombstone leaving the younger James to watch the herd. When they return they find the cattle gone and James murdered. A bereft Wyatt returns to Tombstone, accepts the job as marshal, and is determined to find the outlaws. While in town Wyatt encounters the hot-tempered Doc Holliday and the seductive Chihuahua. Also arriving on the scene is Doc’s love interest, Clementine Carter. But Doc is dying from tuberculosis and asks Clementine to return to Boston.  Wyatt finds out  it was the Clantons who stole the herd and killed James. Wyatt is challenged by Clanton to have it out at the O.K. Corral. Doc joins Wyatt and the legendary “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral” takes place.

Let’s be specific about this: The eminent director, John Ford, is a man who has a way with a Western like nobody in the picture trade. His scenes of intensity and violence are played very much to the fore, with the rawness and meanness of the frontier.
